Mesa Onyx Black Shaker Kitchen Cabinets - Moldings & Cabinet Trim

Rating is 0.0 out of five stars based on reviews

Trims and moldings are used to create a finished or decorative appearance when installing your cabinets.  Please see styles and dimensions listed below.  If you have questions about molding styles, applications, or need assistance selecting the right pieces/amounts, please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Light Rail Molding - 1-1/2" deep x 1-1/2" height x 96" length - Typically used as a bottom trim piece on the front edge of wall cabinets.
  • Scribe Molding - 1/4" thick x 3/4" height x 96" length - Installed where backs of cabinets meet the wall.  These small and slightly flexible trim pieces are installed tight into the corner to eliminate gaps between the cabinets and wall and to create a clean finished appearance.
  • Outside Corner Molding - 3/4" wide x 3/4" height x 96" length (top of image) - Commonly used to cover and finish the outside corner that is exposed where the back of a cabinet and Finished Back Panel (Island Skin) meet.
  • Inside Corner Molding - 3/4" x 3/4" x 96" length (1/4" thick cove style molding) - Can be used for inside corner applications as a finished decorative trim.
  • Quarter Round Molding - 3/4" x 3/4" x 96" length - Frequently used to cover the edges and create a seamless appearance where flooring meets cabinet bottoms (if flooring was installed around/after cabinets).
  • Batten Molding - 3/4" wide x 1/4" thick x 96" length - Commonly used to cover the seams where two panels meet.
