RTA Cabinet Assembly Tips
Traditional Face-Frame RTA Kitchen Cabinets are Quick & Easy to Assemble with Just a Few Basic Tools. You will Need a Drill/Driver with a #2 Phillips Bit, Rubber Mallet, Wood Glue, and a Damp Rag... That's It!

-
Assemble your cabinets on a clean, sturdy, soft surface that will not damage the cabinet.
-
Our cabinets have naturally strong rabbeted joints, mechanical fasteners, and dovetail drawers. Applying wood glue to these joints will make your cabinets even stronger.
Pro Tip: A small chip brush (from the paint section) or acid brush (from the plumbing or welding section) makes it easy to brush glue on the dovetail drawer joints. Keep this in a small cup of water while you work.
-
Use a rubber mallet to gently tap together dovetail drawer joinery.
-
Wipe off any excess glue with a damp rag before it dries.

-
While one person can assemble our cabinets, an extra set of hands is always helpful.
