Following our earlier article on the newly announced 50% tariffs on imported kitchen cabinets, we want to share an important pricing update as manufacturers finalize their plans heading into the new year.

What’s Changing as We Enter the New Year
Shortly after the tariffs were announced, many manufacturers introduced temporary surcharges or short-term price adjustments. As anticipated, a larger and more permanent shift is now occurring as manufacturers implement their standard annual pricing updates for January.
We are receiving notices that new pricing will take effect beginning in January, and these increases are significantly higher than in previous years. While manufacturers are absorbing some of the added tariff-related costs, a substantial portion is being passed along to consumers.
Across multiple cabinet collections, we are seeing price increases ranging from approximately 15% to 25%.

Below is a list of confirmed or announced price increases we’ve received from manufacturers. This list will continue to be updated as additional notices are released.
Designer RTA & Assembled Cabinets – 25% Increase
Dover RTA Cabinets – 20% Increase
Heritage RTA Cabinets – 15% Increase
Petite RTA & Assembled Cabinets – 25% Increase
Portland RTA Cabinets – 25% Increase
Sierra RTA & Assembled Cabinets – 20% Increase
Signature RTA & Assembled Cabinets – 25% Increase

How This May Affect Orders and Lead Times
As pricing deadlines approach, increased order volume may impact both availability and processing timelines:

Planning Ahead & Avoiding Upcoming Increases
To avoid the substantial January price increases many manufacturers have announced, customers may wish to finalize cabinet orders before the end of the year.
Place orders by December 24, 2025 to avoid potential tariff surcharges due to holiday processing delays.
